Special Sauce

I have come a long way when it comes to condiments.  Most people would still consider me “plain” in that area, but really, I’ve come a long way. Try to not be too horrified, but I’m okay with eating a plain burger and hot dog. Ketchup, ew. But, I do like this special sauce. This is the kind of sauce that you measure very exactly the first time you make it, then just eyeball it the rest of the time. The only ingredient I didn’t have on hand was the adobo sauce, so I used a splash of Louisiana Hot Sauce instead.

You need:

1/2 C mayo

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp finely grated onion

1 tbsp sweet or dill pickle relish (I used dill)

2 tsp adobo sauce

1/8 tsp celery salt

1/8 tsp kosher salt

Combine all ingredients and serve with burgers.
