Shrimp with Wine and Herbs

This is such an easy dinner–I even make it for lunch, it’s that fast. Find the full recipe here if you want exact measurements. You don’t need to measure perfectly, just use the herbs that you like.


shrimp (peeled, deveined, with tails on)

olive oil

garlic cloves, minced (have you ever used these?)

fresh flat leaf parsley, chopped

fresh thyme, chopped

fresh basil, chopped

dry white wine


salt & pepper

pasta of your choice (I used egg noodles)

Drizzle some olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the shrimp, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan. Add garlic, parsley, thyme and basil and give them a quick mix with the remaining oil. Splash a bit of wine in and let it cook down a bit. Next add a couple pats of butter, salt and pepper. Put shrimp back in and toss in the sauce. Serve over pasta.
