I have to say–these were pretty good! (Even my boys tried them but said they were “medium.” At least they tried, right?) I’ve made kale chips a few other times, and I seem to over salt/season them every time. This time they were better, but go easy on the salt. To make kale chips, just wash, dry and cut the kale into pieces, then toss with a little bit of olive oil and any seasoning you like. I used salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder–just a tiny bit of each. (You can always add more after they bake.) Bake at 250° in a single layer on a baking sheet for about 20 minutes–give them a toss halfway through. Keep your eye on them–when they’re finished, they’ll be light and crispy and just starting to brown.
